* For some unfathomable reason, a few people still do not understand that New Mexico is actually one of the 50 states with the United States. 

YES -- New Mexico is officially a state within the U.S.A. (since January 6, 1912), and we are strategically located West of Texas, East of Arizona, and South of Colorado. (Honest - check it out on a map!)

New Mexico's official State question is, "Red or Green?", which refers to our love of ANYTHING chile (as opposed to "chili") - and yes, we normally eat chile 4 or more times a day.

In one form or another, we use chile in our breakfast, lunch, as an appetizer, as a snack, in our dinner, and sometimes in our wine, beer, hot chocolate, candy, and other assorted snacks or condiments.  After all, we aren't called the "Land of Enchantment" for nothing.

Another question that pops up from time to time is, "Since when did HOT become a flavor?" 

Hey, it's chile, and it is supposed to be a little on the warm side ... so give it a try, stop whining, "grow a back-bone", and get used to it ... because it becomes addictive!
